The program to build a house for people with disabilities who have no source of income, are entitled to land but have lost a home, has been implemented since 2001, and financial provision is made by allocating 5% of the income from the Super Vasana Lottery of the National Lottery Board annually to this fund. .
The maximum amount of assistance given for the construction of a new house is Rs.250,000/-. The maximum amount for repairing the house is Rs.150000. This amount will be paid in 03 installments and the first installment will be Rs.100,000/-, the second installment will be Rs.100,000/- and the last installment will be Rs.50,000/-. The first installment of Rs.100000 and the second installment of Rs.50000 will be paid for the repair.
Eligibility to be fulfilled
- One should have own land and if not, transfer through formal agreement.
- The relevant application must be completed as per the approval of the Village Officer, Social Service Officer and Divisional Secretary.
- Disability must be confirmed by medical records
- The estimate and house plan related to the house to be built should be signed and certified by the technical officer of the Divisional Secretariat.
- A photo should be submitted with family members clearly showing the current residence.

- If a person who does not have land comes forward and wants to give the land, he must sign an agreement with the Divisional Secretary.
